2nd Stage: Ajapnyak - Davtashen

Today, on November 7 at the Chess Academy of Armenia launched the 2nd stage of the 12th School Chess Olympiad.
The organizers of School Chess Olympiad are Armenian Chess Academy and the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Founder and President of the Chess Academy of Armenia Smbat Lputian, the head of the Department of Education of Yerevan Municipality Anna Stepanyan and AGBU Armenia Special Projects coordinator Inessa Margaryan.
After the opening ceremony, 22 school teams of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts were competing. The following schools took places:

• 3rd place - school N 153, Ajapnyak
• 2nd place - school N 200, Davtashen
• 1st place - school N 155, Ajapnyak

Winning team members are:

• Batyan Gevorg 
• Mkrtchyan Garik 
• Hakobyan Aram
• Manukyan Elina 
• Qeheyan Vardan - representative.

The winner team will participate in the 3rd stage of School Chess Olympiad.
