Final stage of the 12th School Chess Olympiad

The final stage of the 12th School Chess Olympiad kicks off on May 4-8 in Goris. The tournament is being held by the Chess Academy of Armenia, Goris Municipality and Chess Federation of Syunik Region, under the aegis of the Ministry of Education and Science of RA and  sponsorship of the Armenian General Benevolent Union. 
In the final stage of the Olympiad the strongest teams representing 18 schools from Yerevan, all regions of Armenia, Republic of Artsakh and Javakheti are going to compete for the title of the winner. Those are:

15. Yeghegnadzor basic school № 1
16. Yerevan "Usum" school
17. Yerevan basic school № 135
18. Yerevan basic school № 19 

Tournament schedule: 

May 4, at 19:00 – Opening Ceremony
May 5, at 9:00 – Excursion to Tatev Monastery
May 5, at 15:00 – Rounds 1-4
May 6, at 10:30 – Rounds 5-11
May 6, at 16:30 – Excursion to Khndzoresk's Swinging Bridge
May 7, at 10:30 – Rounds 12-17 
May 7, at 18:00 – Closing Ceremony 
May 8, 10:00 – Departure to Yerevan
