20th School Chess Olympiad

20th Anniversary: A Path of Shared Success.

This year, the Chess Academy of Armenia and AGBU Armenia, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, celebrate the 20th anniversary of their cooperation—a partnership that for many years has supported the development of school chess education and the popularization of chess in Armenia.

The Olympiad is held in four stages:

• Stage I – In-school competitions

• Stage II – Community (regional) competitions

• Stage III – Provincial competitions

• Stage IV – Final round

From March 11 to 20, competitions between schools from the administrative districts of Yerevan will take place at the Chess Academy of Armenia.
